Im working on some mounts to use on the bed rails. Should be able to use them with camper shells, and bed covers... FYI

Previous mounts... Im working on getting them to sit lower so they can mount under the bed covers. If you have a shell it shouldnt be an issue.

 

Yea I had mine in the bed recently but my long term plan is shell, rear bumper with swing out & Jerry can holder. I’ve got an extension mount for sale too in another thread if you want to double up your rotopax goodness

Nah i dont think i will have a need for another one. 2 gallons should get me ~25 miles, i should find a gas station or run into someone with spare fuel within that range.

I’m in the same boat though, in the southeast you’re never really far enough away from anything to even need extra fuel. Unless you’re just wheelin’ really hard and getting 2mpg’s

 

I am working on one that is specific to the side rails, i have one that is specific to the head rails already... Just need to get them in stock, and was hoping to release both at the same time...
What you see in the previous post is my "universal mounts", they work great if you mount the horizontally, but if you use my hardware and mount it vertically the hardware rubs against the rotopax... Horizontally you can see the hardware sits under the handle and doesnt rub.

Below is a photo i took of my buddies setup with the new "head rail rotopax mount" on the right and the "universal" on the left. The rotopax mount is longer allowing you to mount it lower on the wall and allow the weight to rest on the floor. I am not concerned about the weight of the rotopax, the mounts easily hold that weight plus way more, but some people may want to mount it that low...

The side rails are not flat like the head rails so some adjustments were needed. I literally just sent them to my cutter for review this morning. I should have a beta mount to test next week.
