Oktoberfest in Greenville. Gunna be a loooong day! This town is pretty cool. Downtown is actually pretty nice.

 

My lady and I made it down to Falls Park for the first time last week. It's beautiful down there. Nice part about being off during the week is it wasn't crowded either.

 

I'll be coming thru main street in a bit on my way to Simpsonville to help a buddy repair his car. Is main blocked off??

 

I’m clueless witht this city, parked at Richardson street? The corner of Richardson and s and n main is block for the fest and the market if that sounds right? Sorry I’m not much help

 

Lol. Idk. I'm pretty clueless myself and I've been here since 2007.

Greenville has "Fall for greenville" every year.
They usually block main street off on the weekends and have live music, food, beer genders and stuff.

 

Downtown Greenville used to be trashy. Falls Park and the waterfall were covered up by a four-lane old bridge. Mills dumped chemicals and junk in the river. It just wasn't a nice place.

Today officials come from around the country to meet with city leaders to discuss how Greenville transformed into what it is today. It's a remarkable story.

 

Indeed. Back in 2001 or so, from the bridge up used to be a pretty scary area. What a success story that old historic part of town has become.

 

Fall for Greenville is next weekend or the one after I believe. Hoping to check that out this year.

 

We love our Subi! We have 2018 Outback Limited with eyesight. If you get a Subi- get the Eyesight!

Its loaded with tech, very easy to drive. I thought the CVT would he a no go- but it is just fine.

 

The Reedy River Falls area, ball park, downtown and all the jogging/walking trails are awesome!
