I love everything about what Ford does inside the cabin especially Infotainment.

My father is a retired Ford master tech and I got him a little 2003 Ford Ranger which he loves and to be honest, is the reason I ended up with the Tacoma and not an expensive as hell 4runnner.

With that being said.....I heard the new ranger would be a 4cyl turbo and that would never do it for me. I would be worried about absolutely killing the resell value once the turbos start to go.

Exactly. Least the 2.7 turbo is a real engine. 400 hp with a tune and boost turn.

Anything to shut out reality. Once driverless cars hit, it will be maximum infotainment.

My 70 year old father said the best thing to me the other day: “Look at the most powerful people on earth and convince me ‘Revenge of the Nerds’ didn’t come true”.

Can't blame Ford. When you have high demand for something take advantage because eventually they're going to have a very hard time selling their fully loaded inventory.

I thought about a Raptor, but it was not priced right for me. I imagine that most of that was demand keeping that price inflated.

I was thinking that I wanted to replace my current Z4 with one of the new BMW Z4 or a Supra, but I feel both are going to be artificially high priced.

Just about every car on earth is made from dissimilar metals. Who's to say that truck wasn't someone's poorly done salvage rebuild.

Ya my Dad had to go back and forth for 3 weeks to get his 18 for $1700 off MSRP. Dealers everywhere had them marked up $5-10k, and not even Socal/AZ but IL. I told him he did great. They do hold great resale if you can pay at MSRP. His 14 stickered for $59k he got for $57.5k and traded for $43k 4 years later and 46k miles.

$100k + was the SoCal market, and now that I think of it - the Monroney sticker was an extended cab, not a super crew.

My coworker Sean has more money than brains I think. IMG_1091.jpgHe put on a full aftermarket exhaust about a week after he bought it.

Lol. Must be nice. I had a hard time stomaching $37k for my Taco. Is it the Borla Attak? Tried taking my dad into that but he’s not a modder.
