There is a Dodge Sprinter and a Merc Sprinter, probably why I was confused.

I can see that in all parts of the country, abandoned Toys-R-Us and Circuit City's have become Spirit Halloween stores.

 

Sorta, they're all made by Merc and sold rebadged as Dodges and Freighliners (now just Merc and Freightliner), it was to make importing them cheaper since Merc assembles them all, then disassembles them, to put them on a boat then reassembles them stateside... yup, that's the process.

The rear suspension on a MK4 Jetta/Golf is primitive. It goes back to the day when VW released the Rabbit in the 70's. It's basically a large solid U shaped object that looks like this -I______I- with stub axles bolted on the ends. The center of the beam can twist. VW might have been the last company in the North American market to offer an 8 valve four cylinder engine. I think they used the base 2.0 8V up until 2014 a design that goes back to 1993 and traces it's roots back even further to the 70s

 

It's funny because we had the transmission shop change the inner tranny seal, and it started leaking again. Along with the oil.

It goes through a Quart every two weeks.
