Inferno Thread

That looks matte or textured black to me.

 

Has anyone seen the f5 in matte gunmetal on our trucks I’m between gunmetal and black. I seen the arb inferno but that looks a lot more silver than gunmetal

Slow progress. Installed the KB Voodoo rack, about to order some off brand Maxtrax and Rotopax... and shopping around for a RTT.

 

Anyone here still have their rear painted bumper caps and willing to sell. I had a boo boo. Need to fix the cap "bumper cover" and the "end support". Having trouble locating the painted version online. I have yet to go to the dealer and see what they can find.

Can't believe how easily this thing gets shredded. The end support is like a fiberglass and just shatters.

 

Yeah it would prolly look good on any TRDOR since they have all the black trim and accents.

Just get chrome or black. Then some primer and a little of this:

Just get a pair of new, unpainted ones from Rock Auto. I painted my 'chrome' ones matte black. Perfect match to the factory plastic.

 

When you guys say "unpainted", does that mean the "Paint to Match" or the "Black" from Rock Auto? If I'm doing one, I might need to do both in order to match my paint job.

Having them black wouldn't be terrible either, but less desired as I love this inferno color.

There should be an option for the basic black ones on the Sr model. No need to paint, unless you wanted to. I assume paint ready would be primed. Check mine out in the picture above to see black on inferno.

Did it change the ride quality much? So far, I'm very impressed with how much better the 2018 rides compared to my 2014, though the older truck came stock with aggressive tread and bilstein shocks (T-Force package).

 

My Off Road came with Bilstein (4600) shocks. The ride, to me, was great. Very plush ride. It did have a lot of nose dive and would sometimes become a little unsettled. The new set up is firmer and much more composed/controlled. It absorbs bumps much better.

 

Picked up a 2018 Sport Inferno yesterday. Has anyone pinstriped theirs? What color stripe? Picture?
