I can't believe the manual final drive ratio is so much higher. That's definitely not a bad thing, just curious as to why they did it

That's not too bad. It looks like with 35s it'll be at 2844rpm. I rarely go over 70 in my truck anyways since it's slow from the get-go. That'll work for me since I don't do a lot of highway driving.

Honestly if I was gonna go and seriously bash my truck I would love a set of OMF modded te37’s. But my bank account says dream on.

Front was not too bad. It's a little bit more time consuming than the rear diff. You just got to figure out a way how to wiggle the front diff out because one of the bolts towards the pinion side gets stuck in its housing. Plus these suckers are very heavy! other than that I have had no issues whatsoever. I am about to install the front today and will let you guys know how it goes.

Looks great, what are the specs on the rims? Backspace, wheelspacers?

Edit and I’m seriously considering 5.29 with 35 with a 17 v6 auto, any update?

Oct 22nd I'm dropping my vehicle off to get 5.29 Nitro Gears.
Running a manual transmission, 315/70R17s and have added weight from armor and accessories.

I can't wait to see the difference!

SDHQ. They will do REM polishing and speedometer caibrations. Expensive but I dont have to think about breaking in and figuring out how fast I'm actually going!

Nothing so far but I need to trim the front bumper. Ultimately I’ll be getting a full replacement. It only rubs the front at the moment.

SCS SR8s 16x8 4.0 BS and -12mm offset. No spacers but I’m running a 3” lift and currently set to +3 caster.

Have you stuffed it? I feel like I'll need to trim the fender a lot so I can get full stuff without destroying the tires. I got a new plate bumper recently so I'm going to try to push my caster forward even more now for clearance from the pinch weld and CM.

Can you share your thoughts on running 34s with 5.29?

I am torn between 4.88 and 5.29 - I was really leaning towards going 35s, but I think 34s are the write size for me.
Daily commute is 9 miles round trip on the streets.
I have 28k on my truck in 18 months.
Lots of long trips and monthly off-roading
