Yeah barely a road there now. Have to swing wide to the edge. The center of the road is totally washed out big ditch.

Going up the other side is just super loose.

A locker would have made it easy for me. Thinking Igor needs one more and more..

 

Yep. Downhill gave us a bit of a pause while we figured a route through the wash. Uphill was harder with all the loose rock.

Made it through though!

 

That's what makes it fun.

Makes Alstrom look like a highway.

 

that was our dilemma tonight. Stay here knowing the rain was coming or go back out during the downpour. We chose to stay. And see what tomorrow brings.

 

Alstrom is a highway haha the group that beat us to the lower spot had trailers with everything you could think of. Was ridiculous how much crap they had

 

We had Alstrom to ourselves, but I bet Grand Bench only sees a tiny fraction the number of people. It's a ways out there for sure. Won't see any trailers and instalanders out there.

I wanted to check out that offshoot that heads off to the left as you come in, but that'll have to be for the next trip.

 

Yeah saw it on the map. Only goes a mile or two.

Hopefully if conditions are nice we will go there tomorrow

... Of course, what they really needed was a bump up, or a locker.

Was also one of the most sunny days we've had. The morning was awesome too

Hopefully you guys don't have any issues getting out tomorrow and can enjoy spooky and peak-a-boo rain free. Those are a blast!

 

Yeah hoping to get to the left hand grainery just before the canyon. Then we can do the slots on Monday when it won't be raining..as much. Hopefully the water will drain some.

Rain finally let up slowly. We are all in our tents. Gonna be a chilly night

Got to and through Spooky today. Was freaking awesome! Too much water in front of Peakaboo though. Will have to come back for that one..

 

BD, Digi, or anyone else know of a set of these in 16s laying around, hit me up. I found one in UT for $25+shipping. Don't want to pay a ton. Junk yard can get them for $60/pc. Thanks guys!
