Had mine done as well. Uses 5th a lot more and holds the gears longer, rather than short-shifting and then having to downshift. MPG seems close to the same.

All these negative and hateful posts that have been spewed lately reminds me of a saying that I heard in my youth and it goes something like this.
"It is better to remain silent and appear to be ignorant than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Kudos to the Mods and Members that step up to the plate on a regular basis to keep this forum as a place where all are welcome as long as they are respectful to others.

How nice was the tacoma3g.com truck? Did it look like it could actually do something other than go to shows?

Frankly I don't know but it does have both the sound and wit of something Mr Clemens would say.

Made a ghetto fabulous mount for magnetic antenna base. Used some scrap aluminum and the left over mount for a rotopax. Don’t really want a CB ....but I’m heading to Moab.:bananadance: Should work until a more permanent option can be done.
Told myself no more mods until I got gears. So I went and threw on some wheelers superbumps. Does it count as a mod if it cost less then $100 ? 8E6CA9A2-ACF6-47D8-A9D7-B5E11B07F289.jpg822310AE-C39C-496C-8636-591417B61038.jpgC453ED1B-A4F9-49D7-A4DC-77C7D6C15815.jpg

When are you headed to Moab? Also I love my wheelers superbumps. I've got them up front and will have them in the back with my U-bolt flip.
