Haven’t checked in in over 1700 messages. Miss anything important? Anyone else sell their taco for a lesser replacement again?

Heres what 14" travel Kings, Chevy 63s and an SOS Concepts shackle flip get you. Thank you @EddyRRT IMG_20180525_195653175.jpg

I’ve got a set of 12” Bilstiens I need to fab mounts for, wish I could run them outboard like the 2nd gens, but alas... want to keep them as vertical as possible, but at the moment I use my truck for work so a thru bed option isn’t high on the list, for now. Maybe once I’m able to fab up a pull out for the bed and have extra dead space under/ around the pull out.

Yup the tractor is mine. Got a great deal from an LS dealer in NC. They make the compact tractors for NEw Holland and also sell under their own brand name. Cutting the middle man saved about 1/3 of the cost which made the backhoe option possible. Getting pallet forks for it was also a great decision.
    IMG_20180916_133926030.jpg

Still planning on the lift. I had two piers poured for it when they did the slab. About 4x4 and a foot thick. Hopefully that will happen later this year. Been an expensive year and Christmas then tax season are coming, so we'll see. But it will happen

Get with @eccracer104 and order them through autoanything. He could probably save you some coin. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about autoanything and having Mike on your side helps a ton!

Thats how Adam and I moved my spare engine before we got the cherry picker. I dont know if it'll lift enough to flex my truck suspension. Haven't tried it yet

They are. The bush hog is on now, but the backhoe is probably my heaviest impalement

I'd never really messed with them. I gotta say, I love the damn thing and I'm always looking for an excuse to use it. Really impressed with the tractor itself. Its a 25hp compact model (step up and you get into computer controlled bullshit and EPA crap) but for the size and price its been really capable. It's the only one in it's class that can pick up and move around round hay bales. I plan on using round bales as a backstop for shooting range so that was important.

Honestly the best, most fun and most useful tool I've ever bought.

24-25hp in a diesel makes a 26hp gas engine look silly in comparison.

the gas engine gets it power from RPM, it can’t carry thru when things get thick.
the diesel has the torque from the lower end to pull it thru and carry on.

i’ve got a 24hp Kubota i bought 8 years ago for a specific project in the yard, the intent was to sell it once i took care of a lot of the landscaping that need to happen around here, i haven’t been able to bring myself to let it go. awesome little swiss army knife

without going to another diesel powered mower i could not come close to the performance even mowing the yard that i get form this machine (and 4wd when mowing is WAY useful, who knew ? )
