No need to inquire. Was handled behind closed doors. That is all.

You're still a NOOB at trip planning. :p

It's a 4x4. I wish I had dough lying around for it so I could snatch up all the go fast parts.

And how would I make my monies?

Sorry Craig, didn't know you had something to lose regarding this matter.
I guess you're ok with it, so we will just point him in your direction the next time he decides to destroy somebody else's property.
You don't need to worry about being compensated for your loss, receiving an apology, or having him perma banned for his actions.
    Have a great day.

I’ll say that the past goings on put me in a very awkward position as I am good friends with everyone involved. Hunter, Joe, and Anthony are all good friends and I’m just glad everyone is able to communicate on TW again.
I was not privy to any of the PMs that went back-and-forth either between them or the TW staff - it’s not my business. Obviously they have decided to allow them back & personally I’m quite pleased with it.

True. I saw an early 60s Impala on the show last night though. I was like “come ON!”

I need to just enjoy the show...

The tailgate on the trailer had two pins on the bottom that fit into two holes in the bed. The top was secured with two winbolts. One on either side.

There wasn’t a good way to make that setup weather tight. The tailgate was also not able to be opened when the lid was closed. It was kind of useless.

I just bolted it shut and seam sealed the edges like the rest of the trailer.

I’m across the street from a lagoon and blocks from the bay, this is my life. When I wire wheeled my first slider bare I let it sit for bout a week before I wire wheeled the other, the first one already had surface rust on it. Decided to go forth in start to finish (paint) the second one and had to rewire wheel the first slider... pita

Another trick is to clip the corners on any weld on brackets. Gives a bit more weld surface, lessens the chance of melting the corner off, and for me makes an easier transition when welding it on.
Just may also help by not creating a stress riser, but then again might not.
Plus it just looks cooler than a rectangle.

Sounds painful, guess thats the price to pay for living near the beach lol
No, but noted, wouldn't have thought to keep those somewhere else.
Maybe something like an attic fan would help keep the air moving? There are times where the garage is kept closed for weeks. I guess Ill also invest in more tool boxes or storage

Apologies again Craig, you've completely lost me on this one.

You're friends with everyone directly involved, but decided to recuse yourself from the incident. That's fine, I'm sure there were extenuating factors.

Time goes by, nothing gets resolved, and now everyone is back on TW. I too am not privy to the discussions that were had before the decision was made by others.

So I inquire as to the status of resolution this morning, to the only moderator that I have seen comment on the subject, and you decide to respond with an inference that I am some kind of grumpy old man. If it was a joke, either in foresight or hindsight, it hasn't really helped anyone.

Since you are friends with everyone involved, maybe you can answer the questions instead of the moderator.
Additionally, since you are friends with everyone, and you may perhaps know others that are also friends with all three; has anyone stepped up to aid in getting this matter resolved?

I'm getting the impression that people close to this consider Joe to be perpetrator, for being foolish enough to leave his property at Anthony's place, when the rest of us see him as the one suffering the loss.
Maybe some of these friendships are really just acquaintances, where no one really cares about each other, and these matters are allowed to fester and rot.

As for perma-banned people being allowed to return; it is not a perma-ban if you are friends with the right people, or perform some kind of secret ritual, or make some kind of deal, so it appears that it is as corrupt as politics.

IIRC it was George Orwell in the novel Animal Farm that wrote about 'some pigs being more equal than others'.
