Soft topper or hard shell??

My velcro periodically peels up at the edges and resticks itself when temps change. If you honestly want good velcro you need to get some mil-rated stuff from a military supply shop, velcro brand stuff, and not even the stuff you get from Lowes/HD, etc., but the real deal good adhesive stuff.

BUT, like what coylifut said above...get yourself some flat aluminum, and 3 clamps and just clamp down the flat edge of that cab window and you will be gold. That is what I do for extra wind security and I've never had an issue. I use some of the cheap metal Husky C-clamps from Home depot and crank down on them real good against the flat aluminum, but some do it real nice with extra bestop clips or whatever. I would NOT use those plier/spring clamps...doubt that will do much of anything except against a lite breeze.

How can you sleep in it when the bed is 5 ft long? I have a short bed also and would like too sleep in the back,but I am 6 ft

 

Haha I'm 6'3 and I fit I sleep corner to corner

 

Guess that works,for 1 person and maybe a small wife or kid.

 

Wife should be in the same sleeping bag as you and there's plenty of room on either side for a small child or fur child

 

I guess us north of the border fear different things.

 

I sleep with the tailgate down. And then if it's going to be rainy I used one of those easy up awnings to give more coverage.
