Something Missing?

Did Toyota forget something on the 2019 box?

 

Well that sucks. No second bigger compartment storage area

 

Looks like there’s no storage bin on the left side. Blame it on global warming, climate change, or a slew of other natural disasters. End of the world is coming!

 

Looks like they took away the water collection box on the left rear part

 

The storage bins have never been useful for anything other than collecting dirt. I’d be ok if they got rid of them, it would make sealing the bed a lot easier

 

It would be interesting to know if the long bed has the bigger compartment or not. If you mean the 2 holes at the top of the bed near the cab, those are for the factory tonneau cover.

I live on a gravel road and mine are full of dirt. I’ve sealed the doors which help keep the bed cleaner.

I mounted a power plug in the door of one for my ARB fridge.

 

Getting stingier every year. First they got rid of the front of the bed pockets. Then the front track bar. Now the dang large bin. What next Toyota! What next! Anarchy.

 

Don't forget the driver's side grab bar.....

 

I loved when they cheaped out and got rid of the auto dimming mirror in 14/15 on TRD's.

Did anyone use those pockets? Usually mine just fell out into the bed and were annoying

 

I never did, just collected water all the time.

 

I never used mine. I did use the larger compartment for storing tie down straps and bungees.

 

I use it to keep my bed net. I find it useful.

 

front cargo rail is missing, both cubbies over the wheel wells are missing and the large side compartment on the driver's side is missing. Wow Toyota. Great job cutting corners yet again

 

Ah ...but I do use for rock collecting... great storage and keeps them dirty and natural
