$3500 w/o mounting kit and $4000 w/ mounting kit (validates my pre-order purchase even more)
    Also....Undercuts AluCab by $500
They will need that insulation kit soon though to stay competitive in that market

It looks like you’re trying to mount a mounting bracket to another bracket. Pretty sure it was made to replace the mounting bracket you have. The awning should go directly to the GFC mount.

I am not 100% sure thats possible. I would still be able to use only 2 bolts because of the spacing in the extrusion. See the 3rd picture in my post, it shows how wide the extruded slots are in the awning.

I could go straight to the awning but will still only be able to use 2 bolts per mount, the spacing is much larger than the GFC mount bolt hole spacing. The 3rd picture shows the spacing of the extruded slots with the GFC bracket against the back of the awning.

I think you’re out of luck for using the GFC mounts with that awning and having all four bolt holes line up. From some google image searches it looks like the standard Eezi Awn awnings have the same extrusion size as the ARB, CVT, TJM, Smitty, etc, but the Swift/Batwing/Manta use the larger extrusion size like Rhinorack’s Foxwing/Batwing.

That is probably the problem, in my research I focused on the brackets being the same dimensions and didnt look at the differences in extrusion slot spacing. So I will either have to figure out how to make it work or see if GFC can make some for the swift/bat/manta awning size. @wileydavis any chance I could get an awning mount in the size for the eezi awn swift/bat/manta? Or maybe an adapter to make the current gfc mount work.

I hadnt considered drilling my brand new in the plastic awning but that would be the simplest and fastest method.....I am not opposed to the idea. lol

Thats what I had in mind, like maybe some square tube or just a plate adapter with recessed bolt holes. I am not opposed to drilling the awning, just hurts resell a little but I could always plug the holes if I ever remove it. My main concern is I want it to look good and function reliably, I am thinking drillings is probably going the be the best looking, strongest, and easiest method. Unless GFC and team can make a mount specific to the awning.

I might, only problem is the "testing" will be during our 10 day tripout West when we pick up the GFC in Montana. Maybe I will bring a drill and drill bit with me in case it doesnt seem strong enough.

Wouldn’t be hard to make an adapter. Use some flat plate steel with four holes drilled to match the awning extrusion and four holes drilled to match the GFC mount. Use a couple thick washers between the adapter and extrusion to space the adapter plate away from the extrusion enough for the bolt heads to fit that attach the plate to the GFC mount.

Edit: Maybe instead of washers use cut bits of plate to provide more surface area contact to absorb torsional force from the awning weight bouncing offroad. More surface area contact between the awning extrusion and GFC mount that way.

I wont have my GFC until the end of November when I drive out there (we are in GA). I will probably see is GFC can make a bracket and if not then I will set myself up to have a few different back-up options for when I finally mount it to the GFC.

I see the issue now. I’d go to hardware store and grab flat metal, drill 3 holes; 2 for GFC mount and bottom slot of awning, 1 for top slot on awning. Middle hole that is flat can just use a rivet instead of a bolt to fasten it. If you have access to a MIG you can just tack it good enough and call it good (i doubt you need much penetration).

+1 - I'm on the wait list and when the call comes for my build specifications I will be asking this question as well.

I'm thinking more of when my kids are sleeping in the bed of the truck on some trips.
I already ordered the ARB2500 and room but on some trips and locations the twins will be on the "bottom bunk".

Do you plan to plan to camp around in the Northwest when you pickup your GFC or head South for better weather? Much of Yellowstone will be closed that time of year and the weather could be in 20's. I also anticipate getting my camper late in the season but after all the delays may opt for deivery since I got in on the preorder which includeds delivery.

We are planning to stay a night in mammoth hotsprings and a day or two at grand teton to do the nature hike and wildlife tour. After that its up in the air, moab is possible, we want to visit absaroka, wyoming (longmire tv show), and I would like to do the rim rocker trail to Colorado.
