Nice, we took some small ideas from a couple we met north of us, they built a casita with the barn in the back. The main house was only like 1200 sq ft but it felt like it was 3000 sq ft, they made the ceiling really tall and cabinets all the way up, put the living room in the barn where all the tools were placed. Place was very cool so we used some of that to build our place.

 

This is the style we have settled on, with shop and carport. Just need to draw it up with what we want.

Metal buildings are so easy to build. No load bearing walls so you are free to do what you want.

 

Yep, we have two of them, when I was building the new shop (wood) I only put one beam through the middle as to not have poles in the middle. Makes the shop feel bigger.

I’m exhausted
Heel gave me hell yesterday, had to ice it down. Couldn’t do my stretches since missing skin . Got it taped up. Didn’t sleep well. Cabinets not matching stain on others from a year ago, imagine that. Painting all of it now.
Still rain on and off. Pup escaped pen and trashed house.

Where’s Ruben? Haven’t heard from him since he was trying to kill a 30 pack last night!
