What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Put off changing my spark plugs again... But I bought some led turn signals and the relay to make up for it! Probably should change diff oils as well...... Too lazy

 

Exactly 2 years ago when I bought it till how she sit's today.

 

Yeah I don't know about Adams either. I just like a sealant better than the carnuba wax.

 

SPod all mounted up today! Custom tray mounted with two plastic plates. Measured and cut the wire ports with a dremmel. Not a bad deal for $20 and a trip to lowes. Switches mounted courtesy of Iggy switch panel. I wanted the install to be as clean as possible, mission accomplished. Next up, ARB integrated air compressor system.

 

I'm always leery of deferring maintenance. I think of the Alfa Romeo Club motto: "Start your engine occasionally, and it will occasionally start for you." Maintenance was deferred on my rig for 8 years. Cleared 1/4 inch of sludge from both differentials. And decided to buy stock in PB Blaster to see if I could get an owner discount.

 

My plugs were changed at 90k, I'm only at 118, so I have another 2k before its completely nessacary. I dont know if the diffs have even been changed. All I saw on the carfax was "total vehicle service" fluids, plugs etc. Not sure if that included any of the diff oil changes

My carfax said suggested maintenance performed. Not sure whether that was removing the popcorn from behind the seat or rotating the tires. But the sludge on the plugs, etc., proved that the only fluids that got changed were gas, oil, and windshield washer.

 

That is a frick'n awesome rig!

 

Might have to look into that. Doesn't look too hard. Just need a pump and what not.

 

Put my removable subwoofer back in. It is really heavy, I wheel it out to the truck on a skateboard.

 

Dont know if you are interested but in the lower right hand corner (13.5V) is a Vico Battery Discharge Prevention Device......I power my cam/cb/gps thru it......it is programable by you to set a cut off voltage level from ur system to shut off whatever it is providing power to....for my dash cm it allows me to leave it on in sleep mode, activated by the impact sensor & motion sensor and still protects the battery...

 

Anyone using a OCS-2 system from Metaltech 4x4 in conjunction with aftermarket bucket seats in a 2015 or later tacoma to trick out the safety system?

 

I got the part number from pop-n-locks website but I bought it from Amazon.

 

Maybe you have a better place to put it? It is a Rooftop Tent after all.
