I’m much obliged at your help. Is the EP35 relay the flash relay in the fuse box left of steering wheel?

Where do y’all buy these led bulbs from- Amazon, eBay...

I need to get list together of 1st gen bulb types and cross reference the #’s.

Never used it but I sell it. Once it’s on the substrate you have to give it time to convert. Once it’s done you have to remove the white residue that will form. Probably best to pressure wash it and get it all clean. After that you should coat over it. If you don’t it will just start to rust again.

Nice thanks! What kind of pricing can you get on it. I need enough for a whole frame.

Usually around $35.00 for a gallon I believe. But you should be able to get some locally, it’s not hard to find. With hazardous materials ground shipping it would be cheaper just to find it down the road.

EDIT: You don’t need a gallon anyhow. And do some research on what you think the best approach is. I’m looking into a wax based coating. It’s clear and that way you can still see everything.

Nice! I heard ace carries it. I looked into a bit . Looks great to me. turns surface rust into a hard and sandable surface that primer will stick to.

I went through the one behind my drivers side header area, I couldn't fit my harness through the one the ecm runs through. You see a grommet around that area, it comes out behind the brake pedal

    From http://henkeladhesivesna.com/blog/how-to-remove-loctite-2620-red-threadlocker/, the manufacturer:

Removing the red threadlocker involves heating the nut and bolt for a couple of minutes to a temperature of 500°F (250°C), applying localized heat using a blowtorch, for example. This will soften the thermoset plastic in the threadlocker. Once your nut and bolt is heated up, grab your hand wrench and take the assembly apart.

550, being hotter than 500, would surely do it. ;)

Concur. Red is supposed to be for fasteners that aren't meant to be disassembled. They CAN be, but you have to heat them up rather toasty.

Did you degrease the fasteners? That could factor in as well.

From what I am hearing of problems with this, I will be safety-wiring my LBJ fasteners.

I'm still waiting for Mother Nature to get off her fat ass and wash my truck. I put my shell back on and it needs a good wash. Throw down some moisture biotch!

Speaking of LBJ failures. I was on my way home from a car show and saw a 3rd gen 4Runner on the side of the road with it's driver side tire either missing or shoved under the truck. Figured it was a LBJ failure, couldn't know for sure as I was going too fast :anonymous:

I replaced a few led bulbs, and ordered an EP35 relay for blinkers.

One issues I’m having is the high brake light led bulbs aren’t working (the old ones work fine). The Yorkim T10 says it’ll fit a 168 or 194. Which led bulbs have y’all used in the high brake light?

    Thanks

Did you try turning the bulb 180 degrees? They are polarity sensitive. I learned the hard way when I did my dash lights and had to take it apart a few times to get them all lol
