Just tell them you have all the things the TSB lists as symptoms. That’s what I did with my auto.

Now I just use TS and do it myself

Ok thanks. I would've updated mine a long time ago if I knew it was gonna take this long. But I'd rather have a polished version of the tune so it's all good. I'll be getting my 20k service so I might try to get them to overwrite my 1.04 also.

 

Simply told them I wanted the latest TSB to get my calibration to B0400 in addition to my 20k service. Service guy didn’t flinch and said “smart call”. He even had them check my tranny fluid level...which meant the truck sat there all day to get to temp. Validated it was updated to B0400 via OBD Fusion when I picked it up.

 

You can't update to 04B00 or B0400 or whatever. That's a vanilla 3GT ECU version, if you have it, you have it, and if you have a later version, you definitely don't downgrade to it. If that's specifically what you requested, they probably did nothing lol the new ECU versions are 04B04, 04B13 for 16-17 and something weird like 04B70 and some other wildness for the 18s

Edit* Is the ECU version B0400 some off the wall weirdness for the 2019 models? Just seems very strange and more likely a typo when you posted this, or terrible misinformation
