If I had to guess I'd say it was some kid not even old enough to hold a learners permit let alone having a Taco. Reported by a member and Mods shut it down right away. The only thing you missed was the rapid response by the powers that be. Remarks were fairly benign and very immature. No big deal but appropriately handled.

Got the TSB 68-18 done an have to say I am extremely pleased with the results! Had it done 2 weeks ago and other than driving straight home, I haden’t Had a chance to stretch it’s legs untill today and what a pleasure!
Seems to step thru and hold the gears with less searching. Throttle response is way more linear. Kudos to Toyota for sorting this out. Hoping to get it into some hilly country to see how it performs, so far so good. No issues at the dealership, took it in and got it back a few hours later. Thanks Greentree Toyota. Loving it even more. My advice to all, get it done as soon as you can, no regrets.

Solid Sunday afternoon. Shop time with the Pops and two mods down: Hood and bed lights install (Gecko lights) and Total Chaos bed stiffeners.

Wiring the bed lights push button.

Taa daa. Oh, and it has several strobe modes with the remote (Dance Partay!!)

    Hood: Done.
    IMG_2818.jpg

Had to use a flip switch as I didn't have a plunger switch thingy. Yes, it looks janky, but it works for now : P
    IMG_2819.jpg

TC Stiffeners. These were super simple to install : )

Made a bed mat out of a Tractor Supply horse stall mat that costs $39 and is MUCH heavier than a regular truck mat.

I got the impression that Tacoma guy was encouraged by 4Runner guy to drive through the puddle 'cause it would be an awesome shot for the camera. (17:52)

They work great. I got a set for my wife’s Prius. Since I picked up Huskys I didn’t need them for me.

Highly recommended mod for anyone with carpet mats.

We’re good with using camp chairs. Not need to stand 7nder it for now. Plus less likelihood of getting wet when raining

I think this is pretty much the consensus of everyone that gets this update. It’s great! I actually, for the first time, noticed how much it still searches for gears between 4-6 quite a bit. I took my truck in today to get serviced and although you do not have to flash your truck back to stock with the OVTune, I wanted to just in case. I also wanted to see if I could feel/tell a difference in the two since I have been running the Tune for a month now. I received the update prior to flashing my truck so that was my stock flash I went back to. I didn’t notice much at the beginning that was too different with my short drives here and there, but I noticed a big difference while driving on the highway today. I could tell a big difference in the lack of holding the higher gears and it reminded me of why I got the Tune in the first place. The Shifting was still smooth for the most part but when the gears were shifting back and forth on the highway it wasn’t as smooth. I still think the update by Toyota is night and day, but just thought I’d give a little feedback of my experience today with going from the Tune back to the TSB update stock flash.
