    Yeah I just want to go back to a 3.73 elocker rear, I guess I was hoping to swap the whole axle as I don't have any experience setting depth & backlash.

    out of curiousity why would you have to know how to set the backlash and depth? You would just be unbolting the diff pumpkin from the axle and install the new locker housing into the axle.

    Oh, I did not realise it was that easy. All my wrenching experience has been on sports cars with IRS. Had a 4runner but never messed around with gearing.

    Anyway if it is that easy then yeah pumpkin swap.
