My wife yelled at me for coming downstairs with a black/gray subdued rattlesnake shirt on this morning and I called her that word...she was definitely triggered by both.

 

Please. My entry way for the house turns into a second beer fridge soon. And it's dark by 5am which means I don't feel guilty drinking by 630 on the weekend

Morning everyone. Things went crazy here.

 

We rarely see those down here

We've had them walk into the parking lot and call the ambulance. They don't realize when they walk out, they get taken out of our system. They come in on the ambulance and get sent right back out to the lobby and have lost their place in line

It gives me joy when that shit happens

 

Oh lordt

 

We had one that had a room, but had walked out so we took them out of the system and gave it to the next person. When they came in on the ambulance we told them that they had a room and we had to go to the next person b/c they didn't answer. They throw a shit fit and went home

 

You can’t make this shit up

 

One of our docs always said he should write a coffee table book of ER stories/complaints

 

Wish I could share some of the outrageous shit we hear on a daily basis...

 

So many people on house arrest use the hospital as way to break their curfew to get a fix or just out of the house...

 

We have a problem with the cops in one of the towns giving them the option of going to jail or the hospital(EMS tells us this)...........and we have actually had one tell the cops to "Fuck off, take me to jail"

 

We get a lot of inmates with chest pain.
