    I’ll double check it. I think we flipped it 180 degrees. I wonder if the 194 is a direct replacement for 168

    Thats the size I used for my truck. I bought all my LEDs from superbrightleds.com. I used the 194s for the the 3rd brake light and the front corners. I think I used an oversized one for the back up lights

    ETCS-i was on all 2003/2004 trucks, v6 or I4, PreRunner/4x4 or 5-lug regardless? Any exceptions to this rule? I know some 2003/2004 S-Runners still have the manual throttle body, and some people report having it earlier than 2003/2004.

    Are you talking about the extra power button? Specifically on SRunners? My 99 has one if that means anything

    You mean the ECT pattern select switch? No, I’m taking about the electronic throttle system that Toyota introduces on later year Tacomas. They got rid of the manual cable driven throttle in favor of an electronically actuated ones.

    Anyone running rear socks that are the same length left & right? Any issues?

    I was looking to buy Icon shocks but they no longer make different lengths for left & right specific.

    Surface mount tech, I assume? Is it possible to replace the IC and diodes?

    @tntacomaguy

    :hattip: Many thanks for the tip! It worked perfectly! Also applied the same procedures to the reverse lights and now they work :woot:

    :bowdown: :cheers:

    We’ll p/u the EP35 relay from advanced auto at noon and replace the instrument bulbs at some point today/evening.

    Are they supposed to be different lengths? Haven't had any issues with mine, I'm guessing their the same length side to side as I only got them about 8 months ago.

    hmmm well crap I don't remember there being a designated right/left shock lol, hopefully I put them on correctly. Unless Icon just makes them the same lengths now then I guess it doesn't matter

    What did I do to my Tacoma yesterday...I stripped the drain plug on the front diff :annoyed: fucking allen-key plug....gonna have to take it in I guess so a shop can weld a hex to it and get it off.

    Luckily the fill plug was able to come off so I could top off the diff, lost almost a half quart of gear oil when I had to do my CV axle last week.

    An air hammer with a chisel bit can usually persuade those off easier

    Well I guess that's a good enough reason to add some more tools to my small arsenal lol. Fortunately I did a drain/fill maybe 15k miles ago so I've still got awhile before I need to completely do it again, plus I just added a half quart of fresh fluid. That feeling when you feel the socket round out the plug....it's such a kick to the stomach. I don't know why it was on there so tight, I torqued it to spec last time I put them back on but they were on there real tight for some reason.
