4FBC2142-9356-4D0E-BA83-A14BFBB5D5EA.jpg Put a 1” on to make sure I cleared the 35’s. Put the 35’s on and realized I didn’t need it and I hated the bumper gap. Then realized the factory bolts got tossed apparently during the install and am currently looking for factory ones.

That would require way more work than it’s worth.

I have the 1 inch toytec body lift on my truck. Rear bumper gap is ugly. thats my only complaint. Oh and buy the extended splash shields for the front

Does yours mount to the sides and bottom of the frame rails? If so, I’d like to see pictures. I like the height with the BL, it’s just the bumper gap that gets me.

we modified a brute force fab bumper just the same, cut those tabs off on the bottom and re-weld new ones on, slot out the holes a bit and remount. Took about 2 hours

I was gonna say... there are plenty of dudes who have beat the trails with a body lift. People don’t like them, so they bitch about it. Don’t let that sway you OP. I vote do it. It’s your truck, make yourself happy.

I wouldn't think too hard. Take stock bumper mounts, make a bracket that has two sets of holes. One with original mounts and one that is the amount of body lift lower. I'd make a set in the shop for ya but don't even have a stock bumper or brackets to go off of.

I’m running the same 1” BL with upgrades harware. It’s a pain to install, I don’t care what anyone says on here. Don’t forget the pop out the fuel neck from the rear driver side panel, loosen the steering column clamp so it can raise with the body. May need to disconnect tail lights pending how careful you are with the lift to raise the body/bed.

If you get upgraded hardware, realize the factory metal cores that the body bolts slide through are like 7/16” and the upgraded harware from Rogers is 1/2” (IIRC). Regardless, I beat one but through the center, messed it up (though it still functions). I got a 1/2” drill bit, widened the other holes and had no issues
    Good luck

Yes since the stock bolts are metric and the upgraded hardware is standard, the OD of the bolt holes are slightly different. A small die grinder would work well to clearance the bushing sleeve but I didn't know at the time. If you read though that 50+ page PDF I did mention it in there somewhere lol. Set aside a full day to do the work, I remember it taking me about 6 hours by myself. I still think for the price it's well worth it for an extra bit of lift, and despite what many people say about body lifts I haven't had a single issue with mine since install. I think the cheap DIY kits that people made with hockey pucks and home cheapo hardware back in the day probably fell apart and people blamed the BL. Just like anything in a vehicle there are 3 options: cheap, fast, reliable...pick 2 :)
