Hi gang. Looking forward to finding out a lot about Tacos, I mean Tacomas, here.

I don't actually have one yet, but looking to get one in the next year. My current rides are an '18 Mazda MX5 and '14 Fiat 500L.

I'm not a typical truck guy, but my fiancée and I did have an Avalanche a few years ago whose main purpose was to haul a camper. That is also why I am interested in the Tacoma, along with good winter driving, hauling gear for biking and kayaking, and potentially some off-road fun.

I have had quite a few vehicles over the years, but my favorites were these: '77 Toyota Celica, '84 Audi 80, '86 Saab 900, '01 Subaru Outback, '03 BMW X3, '05 Honda CRV, '12 Subaru WRX, '12 BMW X3 3.0, '17 Subaru WRX.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll pick up a lot here. My plans are a 3.5-L double cab 4WD, probably at least an Offroad, but I'm open to any suggestions.

I would be willing to buy one used, but finding a recent model at a good price is like finding a needle in a haystack. These things hold their value.

BTW I went in liking the Cement Gray a lot, but I saw a '19 OR in Cavalry Blue and had a hard time not signing on the dotted line. That color with black accents looks great in person.

Also, although I'm not a red fan (I've never had a red car--I tend to go dark gray metallic, occasionally silver metallic) I also liked the OR in Barcelona Red.

So my color preferences would be CG > CB > BR > everything else. I don't want another black vehicle--had too many in the past, a pain to keep looking clean. *Might* consider white with the OR black trim (my Fiat is white).

So did you end up getting it? I just found out today that I am headed for Omaha in a couple of months. Know of any trail groups in the area?
