It’s just a black diamond. Not sure how real or whatever it is. That was her only request for the ring so I made it happen.

Wife has stage 3 colorectal cancer, we've not been getting a lot of help with it back home. Best wishes for your gf's Dad, that's a pretty rough road to be on.

Any tips for surviving the Medical Center?

We've been warned we're in a fairly dodgy part of town, but other than that, are there any decent restaurants in this area? It's either shuttles or Uber for us, we didn't bother with a car for the trip.

The further south or east you go from med center, the sketchier it gets. North of it, it’s big money.

As for food, there’s everything u want in that general area. My go toos in that area are coppa (Italian) or black walnut cafe

If u have free time in the evening, I’d check out the James Turrell at Rice Uni. (It’s free but closed until Wednesday for some odd reason, the weather should be great after Wednesday anyways).

    http://skyspace.rice.edu/

U could walk here from the restaurants I suggested above.

After some explaining to the dealer (which I shouldn't have had to) was able to get the TSB update to fix the throttling. I guess when explaining to a dealer who doesn't know much about it tell them to run a diagnostic first and then for them to do a "flash" update. One guy had to look up what TSB meant lol but they were able to get one guy who knew what I was talking about in the shop.

As far as the throttling goes, its definitely a noticeable difference. I have a heavy foot so it's going to take some getting used to! Fixes the issue that a Sprint booster or pedal commander would have probably fixed but for free (under warranty). Hope this helps.

Black Walnut Cafe was really good, we ate there yesterday.

    Is “Papas” good for BBQ?

I forgot to mention Goode co. BBQ, not the best but a good standard for Texas BBQ

I’d pass on pappas BBQ, however on Wednesday they have half off fajitas at pappasitos. There’s one on 610 just south of NRG stadium.

Pappas is a great establishment but not exactly the cheapest. It’s the cleanest restaurant in town tho. It’s a well oiled machine

If u have any other questions, shoot them this way. Native Houstonian here, not a suburb rat

I believe Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is near there so if you wanted a drink you could Uber there. It's been a while since I was in that area so I'm not super helpful.
