Thoughts on this trailer? I hate it, but I'm curious as to what you think of the build quality. Looks like a flatbed conversion.

You know, this might be one of these things I choose to buy new. Buy now, cry later - as they say. I think I'm going to go for a 5x8. The 4x6 is just too pathetic for me. 5x8's from TrailersPlus is about $2,300. Not bad, if I sell my Civic for $2,500 then I'm buying it.

That last one though, haha. The first one is a nice. A matching black trailer for my truck would be cool.

 

It is a HF trailer. He should not be advertising that it can haul 2k. It can't.

It needs fenders to be leagal. But that's easy to rectify.

It does look like a decent conversion trailer.

Your truck will haul it just fine if you stay out of overdrive and limit the speeds to 65 or so.

I'm excited. You're very right about renting it out, I never thought of that. And I'll have my branding on the side, so it doubles as advertising.

Do you think my 3RZ Auto can handle towing that long distances? U-Haul says their 5x8 trailer is 900lbs dry. I plan on adding electric trailer brakes, if possible. I'm running Tundra brakes and plan on installing a trans cooler.

I've towed cars on a dolly before (3,600lbs), and my truck handled fine. Just curious as to what you think.
