TRD performance brake rotors and pads?

Has anyone tried the trd pads and rotors? Ive seen a few people try the pads but cant find much on the trd rotors

Didn't know there were TRD rotors. The pads are pretty expensive are they not?

 

I’ve not seen the rotors, but I’m running the pads. Unless you are talking about the TRD big brake kit. This may be helpful:

ive seen trd rotors but idk if they are for the tacoma or tundra. i think the pads are around 95 dollars

 

So what makes them better ?

 

The trd labeling on an otherwise common part already on a manufacturers shelf.
The markup makes em better too.

I went to the dealer yesterday to get a part and asked about pads and rotors. There are TRD performance rotors. The parts lady said in 16 years she has never ordered one set. The rotors are directional for increased airflow and slotted. Does anyone know anything more about the rotors other than they are about $400 apiece?

Who manufactures the rotors?
Who what the rotor design is? experience with the rotor?

They have them for the tacoma and the 4R larger sized.

 

There was a TRD big brake kit, which I believe was a rebranded StopTech kit. They don’t make it under TRD anymore though. $400/rotor would be about right at dealer pricing.
