Sidewall rub on Falken Wildpeaks?

    Anyone have an idea of what these marks could be? Falken said they could be just from the mold/gases, but I tried to scrub and they are smooth. Seems they could have been on the bottom of a pile of tires and been rubbed from a floor? Photos are below and this is what Falken specifically said:

    Could you brush/clean the tire to see if it makes a difference? There is a lot of mold release/outgassing around the tire that can be cleaned off. Let us know if it comes off the tire.

    Falken just contacted me again... they’re forwarding me to the tire shop to get it replaced for free. Falken has been awesome to deal with. I had out of round tires first. This will be my 9th tire.
