Just got a shipping notification for my SSO bumper. What's the status of everyone else's bumper?

I think there were three others?

You gotta remove the bumper to replace a set of horns?

    A thing or two...
Yeah. The grill and bumper are one piece. One horn is behind the grill and one is down by the passenger fog light if I'm not mistaken. There's no getting behind the grill without removing the bumper. The brackets made to mount the horns bolt to the hood latch support.

Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow, but the latest update said label unreadable and replaced up in hagerstown. odd that it was in VA a day ago and then overshoots me to go to MD. stupid shipping logistics.

I used it for a 200lb 3 person rugged version RTT for a year before I got the trailer. I love it. No issues so far and it is about the same height as my prinsu rack. Its aluminum so easily removable solo if needed. I never have used the rotopax mounts but they look cool

Do you think its worth it to get the aluminum one for weight reduction or what? I may never get a rooftop tent, but id really like that rack to haul kayaks etc. Im still content with camping inside the softopper.

Yup If I had a LB I dont think I would have went with a RTT. I have no regrets getting a aluminum bedrack I do however regret getting aluminum skids. Another great thing about aluminum is no rust so when i scratch it i dont have to worry.
