First mod!

Have had my tacoma for about 2 weeks and finally got my first mod done!

Definitely makes life a little sweeter!

I plan on dipping my badges sometime soon as well.

Next I think I will get a pro grille.. any suggestions on where?

I didn't go for a pro grille. I got mine at Empyreoffroad.com, and couldn't be happier. I will post a pic when I get a sec

I do like that! I like the pro grilles but I also want something unique at the same time.

 

I liked it better than the pro grille, and its metal instead of plastic with a paintable back plate for the "TOYOTA" letters

 

What did you use to paint the background? Just a close rustoleum?

Nice work. Tailgate art was my first upgrade as well. I really like that grille! Has enough pro feel to it while being unique and not the same as everyone else. Well done.

 

I went to their website and saw they have awesome affordable interior decals as well that look very tempting!

 

Definitely get whichever grille you prefer. I just haven't seen many empyre grilles on tw for some reason. I thought I'd at least spread the word, because I was super stoked when I found it. I have gotten tons of compliments on it too. @greg8765 owns the site if you have questions

 

It definitely is getting my attention. The grille and the interior decals are very tempting.. metal over plastic with a quicksand accent you can't go wrong.

The biggest thing that drives me nuts on my truck is my chrome bumper caps. I'm deciding on a solution for that.

 

Great looking truck. Keep in mind that the grill to fit your 2018 will will have to incorporate the TSS stuff. Plenty of threads on here addressing it, and what works so far. There also is a thread on here about colored replacement bumper caps. I'll add the link when I find it. Good luck & welcome to TW.

I'm trying to find a solution for that too lol. Was thinking plastidip, but that seemed a little hokey (and I'm not very good with that stuff -- too impatient). Eventually I want a Mobtown plate bumper

 

I bought some dip for my badges (should be simple) but waiting for a day I have some time. If it's not outrageous and I don't find a solution I will just see what the body shop in town would charge me to try and match them.
