    I remember when the two widows across the street would lock there keys inside there house and I would go through the milk chute and unlock the door. I think they call them lesbians now. Either way , I got a dollar for my trouble.

    I grew up in Detroit, great place back in the day, especially if you liked cars. Me and my buddies would hop on a bus, 35 cents round trip. Buy a bleacher ticket for $1.00 on free bat, ball, hat, banner day. Bring our own lemonade and popcorn. The shopping bag would turn dark brown with the butter soaking through. After the 7 inning they would let you sit in any empty seat.

    First set of roof racks on my Scout came with just the gutter mounts, you provided the 2x4’s.

    The smell of the hardware store, dad would get what we needed and the owner would just put it on his tab. Nobody worried about getting paid, you saw them every Sunday at church.
