I have some vibes so I got under the truck and measured my driveline angles, ordered some 3* shims from @HeadStrong Off-Road and I think that will get me where I need to be. I will update after theyre installed.

Can you describe what the vibrations feel like? I think I'm getting some as well in 1st and 2nd gear.

Its a vibe below 30mph, you can feel it in the floor board mostly, can tell its coming from the back or at least I feel like it is. I did the needle bearing ECGS bushing so its not that, the next logical thing is driveline angles since my rear is so high without weight. I found a thread on here (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/drive-shaft-vibrations-solved-step-by-step.244535/) and used it to measure driveline angles, my pinion angle is 3* higher than the 1st shaft angle so I ordered a 3* shim.

Good call. By any chance does the vibration go away when you are in 4WD? I'm pretty sure mine is driveline angles or axle wrap. Oddly enough when I accelerate in 4WD it's pretty much nonexistant.

I havent had the truck in 4wd since the lift yet, no where around here to do it. I am going to offroad on Oct 27th to test it out though.

Any luck with alignment solving your problem?

I had an alignment done the day after the lift. The truck drives great, just have vibes from rear pinion angle. You have to shim to correct that properly. You could also do a cb drop but shims are preferred.

The 3* shim fixed my vibration but somehow I know my alignment out. My steering wheel is off center now.

Edit: My leaf was off center on the spring perch. Installed the supplied longer bolts with the shims and all is right again.

Order placed on some @Plastics Guy bump stops! I have a ride this weekend so I probably wont receive them that quickly but if I do then I will report back on Sunday on how it goes and my 1st impressions. I have never been excited about bump stops before.

Ultra fast shipping from @Plastics Guy. Paid for the bump stops on Tuesday and Received them Today (Thursday). As promised, I got them installed so they could be tested this weekend at Morris Mountain ORV.

    1st impressions and install
-Packaged well and double wrapped but paint still scraped from shipping, no fault of the seller
-Look and feel like quality bumps, you can tell the difference in the rubber and the quality from factory
    -Nice painted mounting points
-Easy to install, very straight forward
    -Bolts and loctite is provided

Here are some pictures of the new bumps, old bumps, and comparisons:

I did not order the U-bolt flip kit but most likely will at some point.

I'd be super interested to see if those have any effect on travel as well. Wonder if they would limit the amount of uptravel in the suspension since they're so much longer than the factory bumpstops? Looks like a great alternative to the Wheeler's Superbumps!

When you lift the amount of bump stop you need changes also. The factory bump stop would have allowed my shock to collapse and damage itself. These durobumps are also formulated to provide a softer bump and compress down without the rough hard hits. I will test my wheel travel this weekend and report back though.

I am also curious on if you think they are worth the price. They look better than the superbumps but they are also more expensive, if you give good feedback i will probably purchase them because I don't want to damage my ADS' haha

I just noticed that it looks like your hose clamps have rubber on them, is that true or is there something else on the hose clamps?

I put heat shrink on them to protect the reservoirs better.

We are back from Morris Mountain ORV and I must say I am extremely pleased with how the suspension performed and how well the @Plastics Guy Durobumps performed. I couldnt tell I was hitting bump stops and the vehicle felt very controlled on all off camber situations and when I was fully stuffed or at full bump. Very successful shakedown trip and I would highly recommend both the ADS suspension and Durobumps. This trip was more clay and rock crawling, we will be doing faster paced rough roads this Winter and I will be able to comment more on that aspect of the performance but at this point these two products work very well and compliment each other perfectly.

@Quadabaum , did you buy the front and rear durobumps separately or in the package deal with the u-bolt flip kit? Also, you went with the 4.25" in the rear correct? I figured I would order mine tomorrow with the 20% off sale.

No worries. I just knew that we have very similar setups and wanted to make sure before I purchased mine tomorrow. I might bite the bullet and go with the flip kit....or it could just be the long day talking. Keep enjoying your trip!

Well, the official kinsmen hardware awning install was yesterday. I drove up to SC to their shop for the test fitting and overall install. I cant say enough good tings about this couple and their products. I would highly recommend you pick yours up in person if time allows, its was a great experience to see how they produce the awning from the ground up and how they're working hard to get this awning released with the highest quality they can produce. I am very impressed with the awnings quality and strength, as you can see from the photos. This should be the last awning I need to buy. The official release is soon (this spring or sooner) and he is still working on price point since they're are still nailing down some details. Much like GFCs, Kinsmen is working to continuously improve they're product and provide great customer service. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and I can not wait to really put the awning through its paces and get a long term review out.

Matthew is going to make some small tweaks but overall he has the bracket design nailed down and it is super stout, as you can tell from his hanging off of it. We made sure to hang from the bar that put the most leverage on the mounts and they held up great.

Full disclaimer: I am not sponsored in anyway, I just believe in these companies and love their products. I paid full price for what I have. I am not instafamous or a youtuber.
