I can’t get to 2.5” lift with the 600lb springs, with my armor, so the only answer is stiffer springs. Stock weight I couldn’t get to 3” (with the ext. travel 2.5’s).

Your CV boots are fine. As long as you're within 2.75"-3" of lift. Plus those bad boys will settle.

I got the same compressor, works good. This was the only way I could adjust mine 2.5ext coilovers. Tried with a punch on the truck and lots of lube , no go. Punch with a short pipe= bent punch.

    Hi friends,
I'm having trouble adjusting compression on rear 2.0 shocks (985-26-118). The adjusters will not turn. Any tips? Is there a special tool?

sometimes they can be a little stiff at first. grip harder and turn... make sure you're turning the correct direction.

maybe confused... no lock nut, not the collar, he's talking the compression adjuster on the 2.0 rear.

Ok, maybe I am babying. How do I know which way to turn without knowing what the current setting is? I have tried both directions

Looking to adjust my 2.0 COs. Have 2.0's in rear with resi and 3-leaf AAL. Current measurements from center of wheel/hub to bottom of fender are:
    Front DS: ~20"
    Front PS: ~21"
    Rear DS: ~23.5"
Rear PS: ~24" (or 23....can't remember cuz I is dumb)

No weight in bed, no armor yet, just steel IFS skid.

I've heard 3-4 turns up on the collar on front DS should even me out up front...true? I still want some rake especially since a rear bumper and sliders are in the future. Should I just adjust the DS up and leave PS alone or do about 3-4 turns DS and 1 PS?

They're stiff on mine, but unless they're maxed in one direction or the other, they're nonetheless adjustable...

Do 16 exposed threads on PS & 20-22 on DS. Should give you a 2" lift & be pretty level L to R but still have a slight rake.

I'll count threads at work tomorrow. They're completely un-adjusted so I'll see where it's at tomorrow unless someone knows how many threads are exposed fresh out the box. I'm assuming the 16 threads are the shock being untouched on PS and collar turned up on DS?

I see you have 2.0's. What I said pertains to 2.5 & may or may not be the same for the 2.0.

Yeah I have 2.0s. I'll just plan on adjusting just the DS first and see how things measure up and go from there

Guys, I'm looking to achieve 2.25"-2.50" of lift with the stock 13" 600 lb springs. How many threads should be showing or measurements of thread to achieve a level look in the front? I have no armor up front. The shop I took it to said they cranked it 4 times and that should have given me an inch lift. Def nowhere I want to be. Don't think they compensated extra cranks for the taco lean neither. Any help is appreciated.

Not sure about 3rd Gen but it's closer to 8 turns per inch, not 4. It varies though. I think you will have a hard time getting that much lift out of those springs and still have a decent ride.
