Put the white letters out, old school

Tires make a huge difference compared to worn out 70 series tires

Have a set of ko2 on my 4runner and was impressed with them so far

 

Have a photo from the side to show how fare they sickout past the fender?

 

That will depend on what wheels you have. My wheels are a -6 offset. The tires stick out about an inch past the fenders.

 

Looking at the same set up as you have have the same Rims now looking at Ko2’s

Just wondering why did you switch to the KO2's? Im deciding on what tires for the near future and these were both options for me. Any improvements like mpg better handling?

Highway road noise. The Cooper’s are the best looking tire out there, but they are loud. BFG’s look great and they are quiet.

You are satisfied in the winter with those KO2?
I saw a very good video on UTibe this morning,the guy really likes them,but on ice,they are nit the best,,i guess not much tires are great on black ice.
I am about to buy,mayne BFG KO2 if i am convinced that they are great in snow ,which why I am buying them..

We don’t get a lot of snow and Ice here, but we get some. I’ve not noticed a loss in traction or performance failures from these tires. Probably the best all around tire out there.

 

Very satisfied with the BFG KO2 and as for on Ice the only tires I have had that can handle Ice or Black ice are Studded ones and some states do not allow them others limit when you can have them on.

 

I had ko2 last winter on my 4runner and they were great. No all terrain will handle like a dedicated snow tire, but they handled the north east Canadian winter just fine

 

I've been buying BFG KO's for years and always loved them but they stoped making them in 32x11.5x15 on my old school Datsun 4x4. Since getting my Tacoma and buying the KO2's I've noticed that the rubber is not as clean looking but rather stained in brownish color. they use to to look good without any dressing but now it seems it's a must to get that black look, what gives with that? My son bought 275/70/17E and I had to scrub the Sh-t out of it to make it look half decent. Aloha

 

I have noticed that also starting in 2016 they get that brown varnish coloration to them Easy long lasting fix? scrub em down with a good stiff plastic bristle brush then I used now don't laugh too hard but I used that Kiwi shoe black that comes in the little can on em and it has lasted all summer nice and black.

 

They do great in snow, but like others said kinda suck on ice.
