Hate I missed this guys, I sure could use it! Helping take care of my 94 year old grandmother with full blown dementia, along with having a 4 month old at home is just about to do me in! We definitely need to schedule another night soon so I can make up not making it last night! Glad you boys had a good time though!

Good on you man! I watched my uncle and Aunt take care of his mother with dementia/Alzheimers and my 99 yr old grandfather is in a home he's got really bad dimentia. That is a hell of an undertaking mad respect to you for stepping up, don't think I'd be able to handle that.

Preciate the kudos but I'm of the thinking of "that's what family does for each other." She took my mom, sis, and me in when my parents split. She has been bedridden for about 10 years but we have been taking care of her for about 20. My mom is a medically disabled retired school teacher so she isn't really able to care for her but my God what she is capable of doing is amazing. My sister actually quit her job to help my mom care for my grandmother. She has survived multiple broken bones, a tumor the size of a volleyball in her stomach and multiple strokes and has always kept a sound mind. Watching her mind go with dementia is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. That is such a cruel disease and I wouldn't wish it on anyone!

Ah heck, I hate I missed him as well! I still have a gift card for 2 free hours at Top Golf so I can use that when we go as a make up for missing last night!

Yeah that shit is sad. I wouldn't wish it on anyone either. Watching someone go from awareness to not knowing who or what anything is and not being able to take care of themselves anymore is truly a hateful disease. My mom and dad decided against taking my grandfather in because they have too much other shit going on and my dad's siblings are of no help. Dad is at the home everyday still doing stuff for him when they are in town. Yes you are right families need to take care of one another sadly this day and age that isn't what happens.

    Yo!

Side note, I don't want this to become a "Scotty-ized" argument by any means, I just want a simple yes/no type answer. We are having a discussion of AU football this morning at work and the topic of fire Gus came up. Legit AU fans, would you want Gus gone asap if you could? Or does the problem run deeper than just Gus. I know his buyout is like 32 mill so that's obviously steep, but bottom line, do you want Gus gone or nah?
