Is there anything you wish Toyota had changed about your truck from the factory?

A cheaper price would have been nice from the factory too

 

Grab handle on the driver's side would be nice. Oil pressure gauge would be good. I find the seat a little uncomfortable, the front edge should be a raised a little.

 

I wish the premium package was out in 2016 ... that's all I wanted was the leather option

 

Better sound insulation behind and under the rear passenger seat. Dropping down the rear seat back seems to result in a dramatic increase in noise volume, esp. at highway speeds.

Yes, I know I could add some insulation myself. But, like with so many other niggling issues with my truck, I'm too lazy / don't care enough / lack the technical skills to make the fixes.

- Seating position is TERRIBLE. Seat bottom needs to be raised/lowered with tilting feature.

I can overlook a lot of crap on this truck, some I have grown to accept but I really, REALLY wish they had left the Gen II drive train in place....

It's actually a pretty easy and affordable mod to add this. There's a very helpful thread by @Victory in the 3G section outlining the parts and install. I highly recommend it.

 

X 2 Drivers door handle. You can raise the front of the seat with a simple washer/s under each seat leg.
