That guy will never touch my truck. He does work for TW members on the side and his prices are becoming outrageous. I offered my truck as a guinea pig for him to test fit his prototype brake booster on, so I asked if while he was at it he could throw on my extended rear brake lines and wanted to charge me $140. And there's other things that I won't get into.

Thats a shame. Not everyone can offer the low prices and barter agreements of #RandyFab.

I put in for the 2nd and the 5th off today can leave early thursday to drive up if need be. I personally would prefer the less armor friendly park as I have less armor. Plus I am sure adam would appreciate it as well

you can do it, just go for the blacks

dont know what your blacks mean but our highest is black diamonds and yellow dot for easiest, noted more difficult with increasing numbers of diamonds

ive done blacks without lockers before so you should be good

It just irks me that I was going to drop off my truck with him for a day, pay gas and tolls to get there, the braking system would need to be bled anyways, but he wanted to charge me to swap in two lines which would maybe take 40 min. Anyways, /rant

That's what I was thinking. What we could do is AOAA on Friday, camp that night, then maybe again saturday, and rausch on sunday since I know skip wants to check it out. Y'all could always ride as passengers if it comes to that. It also depends how much money you wanna spend because rausch isn't cheap to wheel for the first time ($70).
I know the truck can handle it, it's if I mentally can  As long as I'm with good peeps (Lloyd would be gentle) then I'll be alright.

At least you're honest. I would want a group that takes their time so I don't fuck up my truck unnecessarily.

I actually laughed at that visual. I would leave it unpainted as well

armor is the least of your concern, weak point at most builds is in that rear and front pumpkin lol

just have good friends who are patient to tow you out and winch you if you get in trouble.

there are a bunch of people here who are scared to used their gear... like dirtying their maxtracs and afraid their winch will warp their aluminum bumpers.

Trust me, I'm not afraid to use it, but everyone I wheel with on a regular basis doesn't really want to go harder than blues, which I've been fine with. The event coming up is a perfect opportunity to venture out into something a little harder. A couple trips ago I did a purple (in between a blue and a black) and that shit was FUN. Slow moving, but more technical and larger rocks. I want more of that.
