Oh don’t be a hypocrite. It’s fun. I’ve found some cool things going to flea markets and thrift shops. Some of my cool 80’s jackets came from there.

I’ve found my ColecoVision, N64, Pioneer tube stereo, speciality tools, old toolbox, etc. just by hunting around. My old high school was adjacent to a big thrift shop, so I always stopped by when I had time to burn. I used to do a lot of flipping before I came on here, I’d buy an old broken Marantz stereo, rebuild it with new capacitors, resistor, semiconductors, components, new veneer for the enclosure, the whole nine yards: and sell them at a profit.

Also girls loved it, so they usually came with me. Easy way to make friends.

 

I live in the foothills so too many coyotes and other predators to have the cats outside, unless they were raised to be outdoors. I saw my ex-girlfriend's outdoor cat get chased by a coyote one morning, jumped up to go outside and save it but when I got out there I saw the cat chasing the coyote away lol

 

I cut down a tree once

 

$489 to have both cyl heads completely rebuilt right down to the freeze plugs. Told him I'm building it for boost so it's getting a mild port and 5 angle valve job instead of the usual 3 angle

Yeah, that's really good for all the machine work involved with these heads.

I washed it before I garaged it and they didn't, but they all do so I'm sure if I tried hard enough it would. The back quarter windows leak so I resealed them

oh I kicked a Tacoma last night, felt kind of bad about it only because it was a Tacoma. But was out for an evening walk with my wife, we went to cross an intersection when the 'walk' sign lit up and some asshole in a white 5 lug 2nd gen gunned it to make the turn before we started walking and would have run us both over if we hadn't stopped and jumped back. I kicked his fender hard, not sure if it permanently dented it but I sure as hell hope it did. Asshole

 

New ECU cured my old pig! Good too cause I needed to use it this week

 

I'm having a hard time following which vehicle of your's you're doing what to...this the Taco or the LC?

Yeah it was having computer probs after a sensor shorted to positive. It's happy now though and so am I

 

Did you fix the short?

 

Yeah I did that a few days ago thinking it might be the whole issue.
