IMO, that one is more hype than substance. While their burgers are good, my opinion is that they are not that good. I go occasionally, but don't go out of my way for it. I'd rather go out of my way for the BBQ and his brisket, or the steakhouse,,, if I can cram the crowbar into my wallet far enough to enjoy it.

I am waiting for him to get his texmex place open and try that. Hoping that's worth it and at a reasonable price.

We like both Tex-Mex and traditional.

 

my friend is the manager (or something like that) there. owned by wade bowen, a texas country music artist. seems there's always some texas country singer going in. don't know if that affects the food quality.

 

Go to pappasitos tmrw, half price fajitas on Wednesday evenings... be warned tho, it’s a shit show. U can also call it in

 

I'm sure there is, but I don't know the area well enough. Closest I know of is Pappasitos, which someone mentioned, with Pappadeau (sp?) right next door. Not cheap, but good food and a lot of it. Probably about a 15 minute drive/ride from the Med Ctr.

 

i want to try all the killens places. never been but heard good things. tex mex would be cool. i really want to try his philly cheese steak.

 

Forgot to mention that, as I don't go to most places during prime hours as I don't like to wait, nor being wall-to-wall people

 

good food. overpriced.
