I don't disagree with anything you have said. I was merely pointing out that what others have posted might not be as true as they think. There is a lot of anecdotal data being posting in here as fact. Bottom line is using any survey that you choose, the results are all pretty similar.

You all are making me want to keep my Ford now instead of trading it for that PRO.

Keep the Ford! That way there’s more Pros for people who know they want the Pro and keeps the cost down ! LOL

Going from a Raptor to a Pro seems like a huge step down.

The struggle has been real for sure. I want that PRO as it looks nice, but its hard to let go of my oversized truck. But the up side is I would be debt free.

Only reason to do it is to be debt free and the PRO is still a very capable truck that has a good look.

I been around here a few years. I had a 2016 for a bit and it did suck.. But now I want to get this 18 PRO in Cavalry Blue. Back in 2009 I had this White tacoma.

Oh man now I really hate you (Just Kidding of course). Debt free and a PRO. That would be the true definition of “ Living The Dream”

I mostly joke I honestly do love the Raptor it’s a beautiful work of art mixed with Rugged Machineary !! Either truck is a win in my books! You tow a lot Raptor FTW. You want a great truck to get into the deep Bush and fit in smaller places PRO FTW.. No real loser with either choice. My decision for the Taco came down to I have nothing to tow and constantly go on trails even my old 06 F150 couldn’t fit so the Taco was a perfect fit. And LOVE EVERY minute of it !

And honestly I do like the look of the Ranger Raptor, just not enough to wait for the RR to come out, I LOVE my Tacoma it’s my favourite vehicle I have ever owned! Would I rebuy it?! Any day of the week!

JD Power has been an official joke for a decade now. Literally means nothing.

Totally agree about ford v. toyota nonsense. We've had both the 1st gen ranger and 3rd gen tacoma and loved/love both. Although, looking at pics of the raptor makes me think the ford designers literally just took a base TRD Pro tacoma and changed the lines slightly. The front end of the ranger literally screams 3rd gen tacoma knockoff, something a chinese company would create to imitate the tacoma.

Keep the Raptor and transfer the drive train to the New Pro and you got something there.
Take the Pro driveline out and give the leftovers to T4RFTMFW and Stun Gun

I would like to have a F150 Raptor but two strikes against it. First it will not fit in my garage & no way am I keeping a $60K+ vehicle outside. Second it takes premium fuel & gets poor fuel economy. This would be my daily driver so I would like to have something that gets over 20 mpg at least. Enter the Ranger Raptor. It will fit in my garage & yes maybe it will take premium fuel but I bet with a 4 cylinder/turbo engine/10 speed trans that it should get over 20 mpg easy enough.

Someone mentioned the ugly front end slop that reminds them of a Escape & yes I have to agree in a way. The Tacoma is hard to beat when it comes to looks IMHO. I think I can live with a slightly less attractive vehicle & gain some benefits as the trade off.
