Rained out but still put in some hours. Then I spent an hour waiting on boss' son's to finish jerking each other.....



They got stuck on what was the most benign amount of mud. Decided to power out. Fail. Couldn't lock their hubs because they didn't have the proper Allen wrench to remove the cap. DOUBLE Fail. No length on the tow strap. Trying to recover up hill. I was asked if 4Lo would help..... Not if you don't have traction! Finally listened to me and towed each other down hill. Bam. Done.

Just to rub salt on the wound I began doing donuts where they had gotten stuck. Stopped in the mud, and drove off without ever engaging 4x4.

Shakira. Best part is I carry a full set of tools. I carry recovery gear. No one was listening to me so I just went to my truck to get out of the rain and enjoyed the free show.

 

thats awesome, that remindsi still need to get a new tow strap.

 

It's worse in person. Truck has like 3 gaudy little light bars that he turns on during the day. 20" wheels with shitty tires.
