With the help from @JimSnell, the bumper that was formulated in my mind has become a reality. After about 35-40 hours of work it’s “done”. I like to think of it as a hybrid between ultra 4 and trophy truck style.

The final product is 1.75” DOM, 3/16” wall...(the place was out of 1/8 until mid Oct and ain’t nobody got time for that). Used roughly 24’ in total.

Needless to say, the bumper is stout. Only things left are: welding it fully together, mount engine skid, make IFS skid, mount valance, then paint.

I’ll try to get better pics and diff angles in the coming days

Ultra trophy. I like it. Any reason you angled the bottom outside corners instead of coming straight up to the top tube?

Part "I think it'll look cool" and part making sticks and trees deflect right. We went back and forth a lot on those two pieces.

Looks good. I don't like the outer hoops though. Too big. They look kinda funky.

Camera angle does a lot with those hoops. They definitely look clunky from down low and straight on. From the side or up higher, they look way better. And they'll do a lot for deflecting little trees under the tire instead of under the LCA.

Don't worry about it. I'll be getting a different style index, those pilot tips are real not good for steel.

Curious what these style bumper covers are for? Seen them on a lot of LT trucks..

    dont hate

I think technically, they are wind diffusers. I just like the look AND the bonus is it actually covered a good portion of my winch since the tube style doesnt offer protection against smaller debris that would be kicked up.

I guess I should add the final pics. I was gonna add a few others taken through the process but we’ll see, I’m lazy with it.
