Thanks. I’ve been feeling mostly good, I went in today just to make sure I didn’t have appendicitis and then have it rupture on me. 4 days of appendicitis like symptoms had me a bit worried though. Got another day off of work out of it too

They told me to take it easy for a few more days which means I’m probably not supposed to surf the rest of the week and there’s a nice swell right now. I may go out tomorrow morning before work anyways

Typical doctors in this country these days are as useful as meteorologists forecasting hourly weather two weeks out IMO.

    Go surfing

@uhplifted glad you’re okay, never like seeing emergency room pics.

On another note, anyone ever been to Toroweap Overlook at the Grand Canyon? I just got a backcountry permit for the end of the month. Have some use it or loose it vacation time so I’m headed to explore the desert for a few weeks.

Nor have I, it’s been on the list for a long time. I was able to get a b/c permit in a little more than 24 hours. Now I have to figure out the rest of the itinerary. Shouldn’t be too hard between the Arizona Strip and southern Utah.

Don’t waste your time with the tourist infested South Rim. The North Rim is so much better and less crowded.
