just remember they are "side specific" either fit the driver or passenger side. Only fit one way so hopefully they will be honest with you, they look like mirror images so i couldn't tell you which one looks like what.

Anyone have a source for driveshafts? Mine are both rusted to fuck, wouldn’t mine replacing all together and then retubing the OEM ones to have as backups.

    Front, rear or prop shaft?

Axle Exchange in Fairfield used to be my go to spot in the past.

Anything online? There’s not a whole lot that I’m aware of locally (Rochester, NY).

I think with some aggressive wire wheel action I could probably reuse most of what I’ve got, just need retubed. Honestly the condition of the tube makes me worried I could just shear one in a tough spot. I’ll snap some pictures tonight to show off it’s crusty glory.

I’m really just looking for entire replacements and to turn mine into spares after retubing. Minimize down time that way.

@avw4x4 sup sup.... how far is Fairfield, NJ from you? Axle Exchange, as mention before may be the place to go.... the can rebuild, retube, or build a whole new shaft from scratch...

I'm sure there has to be a place closer to you

Another option just cut off your old yoke or flange and weld a new tube to it, give her a nice need paint job, the tubes are pretty cheap

True, re-tubing is in the $200~$300 range, and should address any rusted welds, if you want to go that route and have someone else weld and balance.

    Ehh like 4.5 hours.

I may have actually found a place locally.

Not sure about my welding ability with 0.083” wall tubing to thicker stuff just yet

Will still keep an eye peeled for a replacement in the meantime. If anyone sees a 1st gen extended cab v6 auto rear shaft for sale please tag me!

Sorry for the shitty lighting, hard to get good pictures from underneath at night.

I’m honestly shocked that Toyota was able to reuse as much as they did when they did the frame replacement. Must have been a major pain in the cock and balls.
