I'm surprised you didn't cement in your anchors.

Liquid Nail isn't cracked concrete rated. If you use wedge anchors, they will be enough to mechanically hold whatever you want. Just be sure to blow as much of the concrete dust out of the hole as you can. Wedge anchors can "anchor" to the dust and then fail at the worst possible point. Not trying to tell you how to build your man cave, just trying to pass on my anchor knowledge.

When I was still in the TelCo world mounting cabinets and DC power racks, we typically used big ol fat Red Head sleeve anchors. Hammer in, torque em til the head snaps!
Had 3 pins that would shear off the larger torquing head to reveal the smaller anchor nut/head and you were done.

But my Google search revealed no results. Maybe it wasn't Red Head brand, or maybe they don't carry them anymore. Suckers were big, about 4-5" or longer and 1/2 or 5/8 diameter.

^ If 4-5" long is big to you then I feel bad for your wife/girlfriend.

I've installed hundreds of Red Heads. J bolts are the best but definitely a pain if the concrete slump is runny. No need for liquid nails with Red Heads, they work fine by themselves. One tip is to install the nut first then hammer the Red Head into the hole. Nothing more frustrating than trying to thread on a bold to smashed threads. Just my 2 cents.
