PA had a 2", discontinued when Daystar took over. 4Crawler (Roger Brown) will make custom, if you want 1.5" (like we had) he will make it!

    We had the 4crawler 1.5" in a 2003

Dammit! A professional made bracket should be perfect! :)

The 1" BL from ToyTec doesn't look too difficult to install and nothing should be modified at all, only the rear bumper of course! The radiator must be relocated to a new position with the provided hardware and the steering shaft will move up a little bit. At least that's what it looks on the instructions!

Nice trucks! But if I ain't wrong the 1.5 will require some cutting on the fuel line... right?

No, the 2" didn't require the fuel line extension either, just a bracket to extend it higher.

In the video we showed the steering shaft is extended to the maximum with the 1" ToyTec. The 4crawler with a 1.5" requires a steering shaft extension, the 2" PA kit had a steering shaft extension and looked a lot safer.

I made some brackets that raise the factory rear bumper up with aluminum 3/8" plate and aluminum pucks. was easy and the factory bumper could hold my body weight no problem! You have to grind the lip off of the factory stamped plate that it mounts too as well. But a very easy mod to raise the rear bumper up.

I am running his 1.5" and I can conform you dont need the steering extension. Just extend it to its max and you should be good.

I understand that. I have a steel offroad hunoer with a hitch that goes through the bumper. So that won’t work for me

I dont know who gave you that impression, at the time of ordering my kit, I picked up a spacer for the steering shaft up under the steering wheel, and after installing the BL I determined it wasn't necessary as the rag spacer was barely potato chipped. Been running it for over 5 years now and I wheel my rig pretty damn hard, probably harder than most.

Will do, I was actually cleaning up the garage this past weekend and came across it. Ill pull them back out and post up photos

This forum seems to have a big biaaas against body lifts and most of the info gets spread by people who have not and never plan to do them because they are "bad" haha! I love mine and I have actually built my rig around it. My sliders are higher on my frame to fill in the gap and I worked with @RelentlessFab to build my bumper to incorporate the BL so I didnt have the "bumper gap"

Your lucky, as I almost scrapped them this weekend when I was cleaning out my garage, but I didnt!

Man, I am all for it. I have the toy tech bodylift and i'm still rubbing on 35s....

This is very easy to do... will take you 1.5 hours to finish it.

Its fine to do it, especially 1" - i wheel the shit out of my truck, flexing it to 2 wheel weekly...

Do you have only the body lift or is that in addition to a suspension lift also?

When you guys adjusted the collar on the steering, did you get both sides to loosen up and slide or just one? I loosened both sides, but the collar only let the top side of the steering shaft move. In other words, I was not able to split the difference of the body lift on both sides of the collar. I have been wheeling it for over a year so I am not super concerned...just looking for some piece of mind.
