I'm still good for that weekend. will definitely take monday off and could probably swing friday too if that works better for wheeling.

Should get a fair amount of rain again. Not good for those that are still recovering from Florence.

My skids are sitting at fastenal waiting on me to pick them up. I'll just be sliderless.

It's just sitting in my room waiting for the day.

Yea, I mean, with all the hard work there was not a single complaint, on either of their parts. I think what I appreciated most of all was I could tell they were genuinely treating me like they had known me forever, and we were life long friends. I could also tell they were treating the work they were doing very seriously and as if they were working on their own trucks. Those are rare qualities and are something I will never forget. I attribute that to their upbringing and lifestyles as adults. I firmly believe southern hospitality is unprecedented.

So I am indebted to them forever for this. But I don't mind. Not one bit. Yes, there was compensation for the work they did (however I still don't think it was enough), also some gifts to show my gratitude as well, plenty of drinks & food, and for the day, and any time in the future for that matter, my house was their house.

So yea, you're right, Kudos to both of them, and anyone like them.

I've said this time and time again, this forum, and I have been involved with a lot over the past, is definitely the best forum I have ever been a member of. Not just because of this, but it sure is a major reason.

    IFS Skid =
IFS Skid Plate provides maximum protection for your Tacoma's vulnerable IFS third member and steering components.

My wife freaks out going up our steep driveways in the snow and we start to slide back down LOL. It only happened once but that was enough. Of course when we first met she was taking Dramamine to drive with me. She's better now. I wore her down.
