Went on a Sat-Mon vacation to Door County. There aren’t many of you from WI, so I’ve included a reference pic!

We were at Shipwreck Brewery summer 2017. A week later they had a fire. Good to see their open again. Are they still in the same location?

The new building is beautiful. The beer still isn’t as good as Door County Brewing...

How does that one compare to the standard Lugene? The normal Lugene gives me the worst hangovers. Not sure why.

That's weird. I've never had a hangover problem with Lugene. Maybe I haven't drank enough of it. This one is very similar to the original, except with the addition of oak and bourbon, which are actually a bit subdued, not over the top like a lot of BBA brews can be, which is what I liked so much about it. Pricey, though. $9 for a 12 oz bottle, which would put it around $16 if it were sold in bombers.

Digging further into the cellar to make room for upcoming releases...

Stone Oakmeal... Very bitter, definitely not my favorite!

Stone Charred Xocoveza... This is the 2nd bottle I’ve tried and both have tasted of wet oak and nothing like the great Xocoveza base beer.

Pretty good this year. Wish it was a little colder though. The fridge it was in was a big walk-in so not the coldest.
