What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got the bumper mounted and cuts sanded. Going to get some automotive black rubber trim to go on the cuts i think to clean it up. Super happy with the outcome. Now time to cmc and 35s

 

I have the Husky mud flaps. I didn't have to do anything special at all. There is a lot of clearance. I think that is a generic statement on their site since I saw it for the same steps for a Ford truck.

Install was pretty easy. I did it all by myself and just used some cardboard boxes to hold them in place while I secured the opposite end.

 

finally changed the look of this Limited and I'm in LOVE. More chrome to delete yet and wheels and tires this week

 

"Winter is coming" so I installed some seat heaters today.

 

Why can't they build a symmetrical truck!!!???
I have the same off center problem like in the picture. The hood is more to the driver side, hood to fender gaps are not even and cowl to hood is not leveled. Also the gap over the headlights to hood is not symmetrical.

 

Nice.....very nice. Had a 2010 Miata mx5 grand touring for a few years. Was a blast to drive. Great balance. Can't imagine how much fun that Monster Miata would be to drive.

Had a local shop throw on a hood wrap [decal]:

 

Hooked up my 12v socket that I was using on my 1st gen Tacoma for the fridge. Have it tucked in nicely right beside where the fridge will sit for now.





Also finished putting together the @Boogyman DIY Bed Rails™ for a temporary solution.





And lastly cleaned up my interior with some new Adam’s products I got today after @dakotasyota recommendation. Slowly swapping products out to their stuff as I run out. I’m loving all of it so far.

 

Installed Oem pro fogs ....... Now next is grill or UCAs

Whered you buy your kit?

 

One thing that I have yet to see or understand is, how do you know where to cut the bumper?

 

I just cut it even with the fog light insert part.

 

Ah. I didn't even put that together. Was that recommended by the manufacturer? Was it a PITA to make the cut line straight and level?

 

This was a one off bumper and i purchased from craigslist. I just went with what other manufacturers recommended for where to cut. Also it wasnt to bad. Pulled a measurement and kept top of tape line on that measurement. Then cut along tape line.
