    Update to creditors hearing:

Two showed up (at least one was owed a lot of money) and relayed this information directly to me:

The Pelfreys had two police officers escorting them into and around court

    Unfortunately not much has changed...

If they don’t owe you money as a customer, you can definitely have your name removed from the creditor list. Simply mail the court as per your letter and request the removal. No explanation needed.

If they do owe you monies and you paid cash, unfortunately it looks pretty solid that they won’t have funds left over to pay out. If they do have any left over it would be beneficial to have your name on the creditor list as the court will then split those funds amongst the creditors. Again, not likely.

Sorry for the bad news all.

If you are afraid for your safety because you have negatively impacted others lives that badly, one would hope the realization of what they've done is sinking in. This is beyond 'oopsies' we screwed up bankruptcy. It's borderline criminal and when the audit is over and it's all laid bare...hopefully lady Justice will be there.

    I made a funny!! :p

Innocent until proven guilty, and the mountain of evidence and B.S....guilty of something of what exactly :notsure: we don't know (besides being total dicks :luvya:). All we do know is shenanigans and deception. **not a lawyer disclaimer ** That isn't a crime per se because there were no contracts tied to the purchase from individuals (like perform or quit w/ penalty) that at most would be a small claims (<$10k for California, and that ship sailed after they BK'd) or maybe a class action (ugh, get even less back from nothing, because lawyers ). What will be interesting is the agreements between PB and their vendors and suppliers. $$Ooo-dilly!$$ Obviously the important part is WHY. Hopefully, the audit and hearings should take care of missing details like where/how/when money was moving. Hopefully  the prosecutor goes after them for everything they have done. We all know that never happens, and with their financials, its unlikely they would muster a defense for court and end up with plea. :frusty:

Also the redfaced mr p and security "escort"

They could have slightly changed the name of the business or applied under someone else’s name. Doesn’t really mean anything.

Perhaps it doesn't mean anything important, but they did not change their name. You can easily verify this by going to the California Secretary of State site. 2018 and 2014. I posted these before. The only difference I spotted was that in April of 2018 Tyler was removed as Director for some reason. The motivation for that change is unknown, but I posted the change then because most of the legal reasons for doing so didn't bode well. And sure enough, here we are.

Prosecution seems unlikely to me, but who knows. There are always things the general public does not know. All it takes is one vendor with the right information and motivation.

I did also noted back then that Tyler listed himself on LinkedIn as being employed by Franklin's Industries as a Project Manager - for years.

Here is what LinkedIn has for Franklin's Industries in Poway (near San Diego).

    Here is Franklin's website.

    All very strange.......

Pretty sure this has been discussed but Tyler was removed because his ex wife was on a money grab and they used that as a way to protect the business from her. I’m also pretty sure that Pelfreybilt started while Tyler was working for Franklin and he used their equipment in the beginning before going out on his own. When I got my bumpers from him I think that is where I picked them up from in 2013.

Not seen anything of that discussion here. Gotta link?

So......in April of 2018, a short few months before the $hit hit the fan, Tyler's ex-wife initiated an action that caused them to "protect themselves" from her? Coincidental I'm sure. Want to buy a bridge?

One lie after another. And even if true, given what we now know, he was likely defrauding his ex as well.

Note that he had the presence of mind to change his title on LinkedIn to "General Manager" around the time of his "ex-wife's grab" but didn't bother to change the fact that didn't work at Franklin anymore. Or maybe he continued to work there through the end? Might explain their lack of delivering much for the last long period of time.....

Normally if you dispute a charge with your credit card company you are not responsible for it while they investigate. So regardless of how long it takes it’s not money out of your pocket in the meantime.

Just got a letter from PNC stating that my money would be returned. It took a little over a month, but I won my CC dispute.

Best of luck to everyone else.
