    Snugtop, more to come!

Thanks! Good question, we are breaking in gears right now and then I'm off to China for a few weeks. We are planning to go to either NorCal in November, or Bozeman...one of the two. The first major trip (2-3 weeks, a lot of off road) will be next May. The goal is to have everything ready to head to Overland Expo and take the scenic routes along the way from Seattle. Also next summer is the WA BDR and OR BDR if I am very lucky

Went on a little hike today after class, had to let the taco chill out at the bottom, I don't think climbing trails in a state park would be a good ideao_O:rofl:

Plasti dipped my lower bumper, and added my new skid plate. Removed the Toyota dealer vinyl letters afterwards. 20181009_172946_HDR.jpg

Fat Bob's lift kit, 30's on stock steelies, lunchbox locker in the rear, and a ton of other general mods and additions to help the utility of the truck for my particular uses.
Today I modified a ps/2 driven GPS unit to work with the Yaesu FTM-400DR radio I have in the truck. The stock GPS in the head of the radio sucks and takes 5-30 minutes before it can achieve lock. With this newly modded setup, it has a full lock before the booting of the radio is even complete. Lopped off the ps/2 connector, took a usb cable and lopped off one end, Red to red, black to black, green to green, white to white... Then got the right stereo cable with the 2.5mm jack that the radio requires and took the red and white wires, spun them together, then soldered them to the green from the other cable, and did the same with the bare (ground) to the white wires of the other cable. Everything is soldered and shrink tubed. Provides near instant lock. the "puck" of the gps is on the dash (will eventually move it onto the roof IPX67 rated), but is more than fine for the moment.

The other thing I did was mod my brand new Fire 10 tablet for run GPS on it as well via its USB port and a micro-usb GPS dongle. Have gaia gps, tom tom, and offline maps running on it. As for a mount, modded an existing dash mount to accept the larger pad.

Came with MGM topper. Added FJammer stereo. LED Bed lights on AOB Flux Capacitor Switch. Added AOB Spy Mode switch for TBD lighting, stay tuned.
Just got the frame warranty update in the mail for my 05. So... Looks like I need to make an inspection appointment at my dealer before the end of January.

Anyone running a 1” block with a 2” AAL in the rear? Can you safely do both? I don’t really want to replace my rear springs but I want to get my rake back. I don’t like it being level, I like it being a little ass high! Do AAL’s have a recommended replacement life?

I thought the extended warranty was 12yrs from in-service date. Will they still inspect an 05?
